We provide ministries for all ages, with subjects ranging from children to married couples, as well as youth. We strive to offer ministries that suit your needs. Here at Calvary, our kid's church is designed to create a comfortable and safe learning environment for all children from birth-5th grade. We offer 4 different classrooms specifically designed as a cohesive learning experience with lessons and activities tailored to meet the needs, learning abilities, and grade levels of the students. We strive to puyrposely and practically help foster a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the modelling of His love, learning of His word, and experiencing and participating in worship.
We are the people that you see when you first walk in the door. Our goal is to help you feel immediately as home at Calvary. We are here to give you a hand shake or a hug. We're here to give you information and access to whatever you need while you're here. Think of us as the host to a party that you've been invited to.
Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." At Calvary Christian Center, men are given the unique opportunity to fellowship with one another and are led on how to be a "Man of God" and the "Priest of their home." Events throughout the year, such as our Annual Men's Retreat and Promise Keepers, are just a few ways we get together to "sharpen up." Our prayer meeting is a weekly gathering to give praise, thanks, honor, and love to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is a time we gather in community, to praise God on a one-to-one basis, as the Holy Spirit moves us.
"Missionettes" girls clubs were founded in 1956 and are based on the Titus 2 principal of women mentoring girls. Missionettes has specific clubs for each age group. Each club has its own motto, pledge, color, Scripture verses and badges that can be earned through various activities and adventures.
Our Royal Rangers is where boys & girls can grow together and play together. It's a place where they can talk about the challenges of every day life while developing a deeper understanding of who Christ is and what it means to have Christ in their daily lives. It is a place where they will be encouraged to grow into young men & women with spiritual and moral integrity.
The Young Adult ministry is called Commons. They meet on the 2st and 4th Sundays of every month at different venues at 7pm. This time consists of worship music, studying the Word of God, and specifically applying it in the lives of Young Adults. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere for Young Adults to interact and connect on issues that affect their ever day lives. Also, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to strengthen their walk with God while fulfilling the great commission. We have a wide age range starting from 18 year olds up to people in their early 30’s. In addition to our services, we also plan events throughout the month interacting with other Christians and non-Christians in and around our area.
The ushers are a group of people that desire to demonstrate the love of Christ to everyone who walks through the door. We're here to help you find the right class, the right group, and the best seat in the house. If you have a need, we're here to help. Women's Ministries consists of wives, mothers, daughters, homemakers, students, working women, single women, women young and old. We are Children's Church teachers, musicians, prayer partners, bible study leaders, missionaries, and more. As our lives become filled with multi-tasking and daily demands that can become overwhelming, Women's Ministries recognizes that sometimes we need a break, a time to refresh and connect with other women so that we can be encouraged and inspired. We haev so many new events to help you get connected, stay tuned for our new schedule coming soon! Childcare is provided.
God has provided the worship ministry with spiritual growth, leadership, and music training. Over the course of this past year, we've received numerous praise reports of how people were intimately touched by God's Spirit during praise and worship. That's why, we strive to provide spirit filled, heart touching, quality music for all weekly and special services.
R.O.C.K. (Revelation Of Christ's Kingdom) is our youth ministry of dedicated adults mentoring teens to lead their peers to authentic life changing relationships with Jesus Christ and other believers. This will be evidenced by heartfelt worship, a desire to grow in the fruits of the spirit and a servant's heart toward all, regardless of differences. The truth is presented in a way that is relevant and real, by using games, music, talk shows, dramas, props, illustrated sermons, and anything else the team can get their hands on. R.O.C.K. is committed to seeing lives changed by the Truth.
R.I.O.T. (Radical Invasion Of Teens), our Sunday morning youth service, has hands on learning, small group discussions and tons of craziness to make the stories in the Bible really jump out into the lives of teens.
The Youth Center is a place where young people can come to chill out after school with thier friends. There are a lot of great games like karaoke, fooseball, air hockey, basketball, Playstation, pool and more. There is also have a coffee bar loaded, with favorite drinks and snacks.
